ADPHOTO, INC founder and commercial photographer John K. Chua's photo was recently featured on the front page of Manila Bulletin, a leading local newspaper in the Philippines.
Aside from our professional work, we take pride in our advocacy called Photography with a Difference (PWD) - where we inspire people with disabilities through photography. Our current project, “Into the Sky & Beyond - Autism Spectrum” is an aerial photography workshop for persons with autism that took place on March 18, 2017 at Angeles City Flying Club, in Magalang, Pampanga, in partnership with the Autism Society of the Philippines (ASP) Baguio Chapter, Baguio Camera Club and the Angeles City Flying Club (ACFC)
John K. Chua began Photography with a Difference (PWD) in 2008. To date, it has involved more than a thousand photographers in the country in helping hundreds of persons with different disabilities. Here’s the caption for Manila Bulletin’s front page photo (March 20, 2017):
Soaring High - A 24-year-old man with autism, and a 66-year-old retired teacher take flight in their ultra light aircraft from the Angeles City Flying Club hangar in Magalang, Pampanga, for their continuing lessons on aerial photography. The lesson was one of the preparations being made by participants in the photo exhibit that will be staged April 2 to celebrate World Autism Day. (Photo courtesy of John Chua)
